Salary £25,000 - £34,000 per annum

Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm – 40 hours per week
Cambian Wing College is small independent specialist college based in Bournemouth. Our students are 16-25 years old and have a diagnosis of High Functioning Autism and associated conditions. Cambian Wing College uses specialist approaches, environments and staff expertise to prepare students to meet the demands of adult life in a positive way. We are a small team who are totally committed to developing our young people.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and flexible candidate to join our academic team. You will be responsible for teaching small groups - our class sizes are small, typically about 6 students. Additional learning support is also provided to help students learn and develop their independence.
The successful candidate needs to be well organised with excellent communication skills and will need to be able to work flexibly. Teaching at Level 1 and 2 you should have knowledge of:-
- Windows operating system
- Visual Basic, Java and web development
- Computer hardware and networking

Can you add to our curriculum, offering and teaching a range of IT related subjects? This could include basic computing, digital media and IT in business. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping students to get the best out of the ICT resources available to meet their potential.
