The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to work as part of the school's IT team to ensure all staff and students have access to high-quality and proactive IT support across a number of our schools.

 

 

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • To support staff and students with the use of ICT including online support, and assisting with staff and student training where appropriate.
  • To support staff and students with the set-up and preparation of ICT equipment.
  • Report any detected breach of the school's ICT acceptable use policy to the relevant Manager.
  • Assist the Headteachers and Trust leaders with ensuring the management of digital Safeguarding.

We're looking for you if you have:

  • Experience of IT systems administration and web-based platforms
  • Previous experience of IT technology transferable to Google Workspace administration.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, approachable and flexible.
  • Good planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise demands

Harwich and Dovercourt High School (HDHS) is a popular, mixed 11-18 comprehensive situated on the north-east Essex coast. As one of the only Reading Schools in the country, we are bursting with innovative practice designed to nourish a love of literature and this forms a cornerstone of our curriculum in all subject areas.
