Based at:                Elizabeth Woodville School

Hours:          8.00am to 4.30pm (one day 4pm)

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Grade: Grade I points 22 to 26 - Grade J points 27 to 31 (dependant on experience)

Job Context

As at January 2021, the trust consists of ten academies across Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and the West Midlands, comprising of seven secondary and three primary academies.

The IT Services Manager role will be based at their home school and provide the infrastructure, hardware and software support required to the school community. In addition, there is a requirement to actively participate in the central services element of the role across the trust.  The IT Services Manager will work as part of a team across the trust who will ensure safe, efficient and effective operation and maintenance of IT and digital services in the trust schools. Opportunities to develop a specialism that allows the trust to function as a central service in a number of other technologies including but not limited to network management, security, software, telephony, print management and social/ digital media will be available.

We are looking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced individual to strategically manage the development and maintenance of our ICT systems and infrastructure, and to provide an exceptional level of support.

You will be a dynamic, well organised, forward thinking, enthusiastic individual, with excellent communication skills. You must have experience managing support teams, working with clients and network infrastructure/systems, from implementation through to completion and the subsequent maintenance. You should be able to demonstrate these skills and provide examples where possible.

Previous experience working in schools would be useful but not essential.

Elizabeth Woodville School is an inclusive comprehensive school with approximately 1100 students. Elizabeth Woodville is part of Tove Learning Trust which is a rapidly growing trust whose vision is to ensure that all pupils in the trust academies are provided with outstanding educational experiences that lead to outstanding outcomes.
