Position Requirements • A relevant understanding of the philosophy of Catholic Education
• Willingness to fulfill the requirements of the Diocesan Faith Education Accreditation Policy
• Knowledge and skills supporting Microsoft Office 365 and other productivity, communication and collaboration tools
• Knowledge and skills in Microsoft SCCM
• Acquire and support general ICT hardware and software including teacher devices, printers, copiers etc
• Align ICT implementation with school ICT plan and strategic priorities
• Technical skill with installing and maintaining a range of software and operating systems
• Server/client network & network component skills
• Enthusiasm, proactivity and capacity to adapt and work with school staff
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with minimal supervision
• Knowledge and experience in a student device environment (e.g. BYOD)
• Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities as a member of the school team
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills when relating to students, parents and other teachers
Essential Criteria • Applicants will need to obtain a Working With Children number must be recorded on application.
• Be appropriately qualified as a trained IT support Officer with minimum 3 years experience and have the relevant IT qualifications

San Clemente High School is located in Mayfield- an inner city suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales. The school is co-educational and caters for students from Year 7-10. 720 students attend the school and are taught by 59 teaching staff. 

San Clemente High School is of the Catholic faith and is highly regarded within the local community. The school was established in 1916 and enrols students primarily from the parishes of Waratah, Mayfield, Tighes Hill, Stockton, Nelson Bay, Bulahdelah, Raymond Terrace and Shortland.
