(18,000 to £22,000) dependent on skills and experience
Starting September 2018
West Midlands UTC is looking for inspirational staff to help shape an innovative approach to education.
We are a brand new school for 14-18 year olds. The University Technical College (UTC) has been set up to help create the innovators, designers, architects and construction professionals of the future. West Midlands UTC is situated in a brand new, purpose-built building in Wolverhampton city centre at our Springfield Campus. The UTC buildings form the first stage of the £100 million regeneration of the Springfield Campus led by the University of Wolverhampton to form a national centre of excellence for Architecture and the Built Environment.
We are looking for an experienced ICT Technician to support the use of ICT in our innovative programme. Our technicians will also perform a secondary support role for classes and students within their subject area and will perform a vital task in helping to ensure that our students will achieve their very best.
The role will grow as the UTC does: as the ICT team grows the post holder may be able to take a leading role in the formation of a technician team within the UTC.
We will be employing only the very best support staff and teachers and whose primary focus will be to drive academic excellence alongside technical proficiency. You will be presentable and will demonstrate:
• A high level of technical knowledge and understanding
• Wide ranging experience of ICT Technician duties
• A willingness to work with young people in support of their studies. In return the UTC offers:
