Job overview
The post would suit someone who is ideally a native speaker of Italian, or alternatively someone with a modern languages degree (or equivalent) in Italian. Candidates who already have some teaching experience would be preferred.
The role involves conversational practice in small groups (8-10 each) with Year 11 boys sitting their Italian GCSE, for approximately for 90 minutes per week on Thursday lunchtime. There would also be an hour’s tuition per week required with a bilingual sixth form pupil sitting Italian IB Standard Level.
