The Languages Department at MacKillop is something we take great pride in, and we believe that to fully prepare our students for the world of tomorrow it is essential for us to give them every opportunity to immerse themselves in the cultures of the wider world. Japanese has been a cornerstone of our languages offering since the foundation of our College in 2012, and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Japanese teacher to join our supportive cohort of languages staff. The role will involve teaching students about the language and culture of Japan, and has the opportunity to get involved in extracurricular activities including international tours, welcoming Japanese exchange students, and maintaining relations with our sister school in Japan, Hakata High School.

Applicants will require secondary teaching qualifications, teacher registration and an NT working with children card. We look forward to hearing from you!

We are a coeducational secondary College situated in Palmerston, 25km from Darwin in the NT. The College was opened in 2012 and caters for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
