Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, child centred, Key Stage 1 teacher to join our amazing team and who will bring vision, ambition, creativity and dynamism to our vibrant and warm environment. Howe Green House School is a small co-educational prep school on the Hertfordshire/Essex borders, set in beautiful rural grounds but within easy reach of local towns and set midway between the cities of London and Cambridge. We are a non-selective school, and our aim is to provide each individual child with a well-rounded, exciting and innovative experience which enables them to reach their individual potential. We are a school with an exceptionally strong family feel and the beneficial and warm relationships between families and the school are an unusually strong feature.
> Ideally we are seeking a candidate with experience of teaching Year 1, but we are willing to consider primary teachers with experience of any year group between Reception and Year 6. All year group teachers will be expected to lead a subject within the school in the role of subject coordinator – please do indicate any areas of particular strength or interest within your letter of support as the allocation of this is flexible and will depend upon the profile of the successful applicant.
> The closing date for applications is Friday 27th March 2020, and interviews will be held later that same week, or early the following week.
