Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 (KS2) to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the South Tyneside area. This is a full-time primary teaching role, covering a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class which will commence in September 2020 and will continue for one term.

The role

The desired Key stage 2 (KS2) Teacher will be working in an average sized class (the year group has not yet been decided), with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both Newly Qualified teachers and experienced teachers. The school would ideally like someone with Key Stage 2 (KS2) experience, who has recently taught in either lower or upper Key Stage 2 (KS2). The successful Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher would be expected to plan fun and engaging lessons. Full time working hours will be 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.

This is a larger than average sized primary school where pupil’s achievement and enjoyment of learning are outstanding. At this primary school pupil’s feel extremely safe and staff respond rapidly if they have any concerns. Teaching staff also work extremely hard to ensure that pupils individual needs are met. 

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching primary education at a Key Stage 2 level

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
