Parkwood Hall School is a Special Needs Residential provision for students with moderate to severe learning difficulties.  The children and young people are at the heart of everything we do.  Our aim is to provide an outstanding and supportive learning environment which challenges students to achieve success.

We require an additional Key Worker to support the ongoing running of our short breaks and respite care provision “Treetops” which enhances our services for our students. The role involves working during the school holidays and as part of the residential team of key workers on residence during term time. This is a varied new position which offers an opportunity to be involved in different aspects of school life.

The successful candidate will be able to work flexible hours as required by the residential and respite programmes within the contractual framework of 36 hours per week 52 weeks per year.  This will include sleeping in.

Applicants will be expected to hold a relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 and be able to demonstrate experience in special needs education or provision of services to children and young people.
