Key Worker / Teaching Assistant (Pre Prep / Nursery)

Cheltenham College Prep School is looking for a Key Worker to join its busy and dynamic Pre – Prep department. The Key Worker is responsible to the Head of Kingfishers and will assist in the provision of a variety of activities whilst maintaining the care and safety of our pupils. The successful candidate will be a Key Worker to a group of children in the Nursery.

Kingfishers is very much part of the Prep School, occupying self-contained buildings at the heart of the school campus. Staffed by specialist Early Years teachers, the aim is to provide a stimulating and happy environment in which children can develop intellectually and socially to reach their potential.

Candidates should have experience in EYFS and will be qualified at Level 3 NVQ or higher. Experience in Foundation Stage 1 would be an advantage.

Candidates should have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. Good communication skills both oral and written are essential.

Salary on College Scale depending on experience. Hours are full time for 38 weeks per year.
