Kindergarten Assistant (Equity Support Assistant)

Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton invites applications from qualified educators for the position of Kindergarten Assistant at St Brigid’s Catholic Kindergarten, Emerald. This position is a Term Time (approx. 12 HPW) casual role. The Kindergarten Assistant’s role is to work collaboratively within a team to provide a quality early childhood program at this ‘Exceeding the National Standards’ Queensland Approved Kindergarten.

A minimum of Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent, including those applicants who are studying towards this qualification (ACECQA approved qualifications: https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualificationrequirements) will be considered. A working with Children Check and eligibility for a Suitability Notice will also be required. It will be necessary for the successful applicant to obtain an ACECQA approved First Aid Certificate.
