Christ Church CE Primary School is an extremely happy, welcoming and successful primary school. We have a strong ethos that celebrates the achievements of all pupils and staff alike.
We have a wonderful food programme in our school including healthy and innovative lunch provision for our children. We are looking to employ a new chef to join our team. Our chef will cook and prepare the lunch for staff and children and will work on all aspects of organising the kitchen. They will also have a role in directly working with the children to help educate them about healthy eating.
The successful candidate will have some commercial cooking experience but will not necess arily have worked in a school kitchen. They must be passionate about feeding children a delicious, nutritious, balanced diet. We are looking at creating a menu with the chef with meals being cooked from scratch and using the best possible ingredients that are well sourced.
We are looking for a very committed and flexible team member, with energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to their own professional development. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged prior to application.
