The governors are looking to appoint a talented, inspirational and experienced KS1 class teacher from September 2018. There is the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate. 

St Joseph’s is a popular and successful inner city Catholic Infants’ School, working in federation with St Joseph’s Junior School. Our children are keen to learn and we enjoy supportive parents and a highly professional, creative team of teaching and support staff. 

Our recent OFSTED April 2018 where we were graded as GOOD states: ‘Learning is purposeful and exciting because you provide a range of opportunities to engage pupils…As a result, pupils are given the best learning opportunities regardless of any barriers they may have.’

We are a happy, caring, two-form entry school. We celebrate the rich diversity of our multicultural community and are committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment. We are well resourced across all areas of the curriculum and our aim is to provide the best possible educational experience for all of our children, We are looking for someone who is ideally a practising Catholic, but certainly someone committed to the Catholic ethos of our school.
