ABC teachers are working collaboratively with a wonderful school in the Perry Barr area of north Birmingham, to recruit a KS1 teacher from September 2019. The position will be for a minimum of 2 terms working with a mixed ability Year 1/Year 2 class and will be a temporary 0.6 contract.
The successful candidate will:
o Hold valid QTS
o Have excellent behaviour/classroom management skills
o Maintain a safe, secure and supportive environment
o Show passion towards pupil development and good teaching practise
o Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
o Have a positive work ethic and hardworking attitude

To register with us, all candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also gain references to cover the last 2 years. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 3 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
