Smart Teachers is recruiting for an enthusiastic and reliable KS2 Intervention Teacher to join a ‘Good’ 1 form entry school in Brent. This full-time floating classroom teaching position is available for a October 2018 start. The role will initially commence on a daily rate starting from £135 per day with the opportunity of a generous offer of a permanent placement for the right person.

  • KS2 Intervention Teacher
  • Timetable will include both PPA in KS2 and time with intervention groups in the mornings throughout the week
  • Teaching Year 6 in the afternoons
  • Some planning for Year 6 subjects required
  • Teaching Assistant in all classes
  • Additional Teaching Assistant provides 1:1 support for a child with global delay in the Year 6 class
  • Suitable for NQTs and experienced teachers

In order to be considered for this role, KS2 Intervention Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • Experience within a SATs year group desirable
  • NQTs welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa / right to work)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
