SEND KS2 Teacher / Knowsley / October 2018 – July 2019  

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a KS2 Teacher, with experience teaching and supporting mainstream classes with high populations of SEND children, to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local mainstream school in Knowsley. This will be a contract for 2.5 terms, commencing in October 2018 covering the secondment of a current staff member.

This is a larger than average mainstream school and has a good reputation in the local community. The behaviour and attitude of the children can often be challenging, but the schools have a very supportive SLT and a very clear behaviour management policy. 

To be considered for this position;

  • Have experience teaching across KS2
  • Have experience supporting SEND children within mainstream settings
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
