One year fixed-term contract
Due to increased interest for our KS2 places, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated KS2 Teacher to join this successful school. You will have dedication, energy and a desire to inspire the children you teach. This is an opportunity to work in a thriving, enthusiastic and collaborative school community.
Salary according to qualifications and experience on the Lanesborough Scale, which is considerably above national scales. An excellent relocation package and private health care scheme are also included.

Lanesborough School, first established in 1930, is an independent pre-preparatory and prep school. It caters for around 360 boys aged 3-11. The school is located in Guildford, Surrey, and often serves as a “feeder school” to the nearby Royal Grammar School.
Since its founding, the school has seen extensive expansion, with numerous new buildings and facilities being added. Although owned by the same governing body as the Royal Grammar School, Lanesborough is independently run, and as such transference to the Royal Grammar School at the age of 11 is not guaranteed.

The primary aim of Lanesborough School is to provide an outstanding academic grounding, enabling boys to succeed in later life. Lanesborough sets rigorous academic standards and invests heavily in its teaching facilities. An individual focus on students is of paramount importance, with teachers working hard to ensure self-confidence in pupils and that achievement is properly rewarded. The school also provides a great deal in the way of extra-curricular activities.
