ABC Teachers are looking to recruit an experienced KS2 Teacher to work in a ‘good’ school located in Wednesbury. This role is part-time and is due to start in September 2018 for an academic year to cover a maternity leave. This role is for 2 days a week on a job share basis, the set days for this role have not yet been decided so the school is happy to negotiate with the candidate. The school is ideally looking for a qualified teacher that has vast experience within KS2, someone who is confident in teaching all year groups. You will need to be flexible, passionate and have a good sense of humour to be the perfect candidate. With this role, you will be asked to work with another part-time class teacher so teamwork is essential.

The role in question is a 2 day a week job share; this means that planning, marking and assessing are expected, however this is shared between teachers. The school is happy for both teachers to discuss between themselves what duties they want to be in charge of, any input would be greatly appreciated. Along with this, parents evening and 1 staff meeting will need to be attended. The school is keen to make sure their teachers have a good work life balance, therefore PPA time is given and they are flexible in regards to planning and displays.

The ideal candidate will-

· KS2 Specialist- a minimum of 2 years’ experience

· Be able to provide 2 educational references

· Willing to commit to the entirety of the role

· Up to date knowledge on the national curriculum

· Qualified teacher status- NQTs are welcome to apply

Located in Sandwell, this makes it the ideal role for teachers located in the surrounding areas including Dudley and Walsall. The school in question is not far from the M5 and M6 and also has frequent public transport for those who do not drive.
