Knightsbridge School, a thriving co-educational prep school, is looking for an inspiring Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 4 Class Teacher) with a particular interest in Literacy to join the team. Maybe you are looking to teach in the independent sector for the first time, or maybe your teaching creativity is being restrained in a rigid environment; whatever your reason for wanting a new challenge, we are confident that we offer a friendly, supportive and positive teaching environment, with involved parents and motivated pupils. You’ll have high standards, an interest in Literacy and a passion for developing the knowledge and learning skills of our pupils and a love of teaching.

About Knightsbridge School

Knightsbridge School is an independent, mainstream, mixed preparatory school for children aged three to thirteen. Located in central London, it has approximately 398 students. 

Knightsbridge School opened in September 2006, housed in two mansions, and has since redone much of its décor. There are now well-equipped classrooms, a science laboratory, an ICT suite, an in-house catered dining hall, a performing arts studio, music rooms, a library and an art studio.

The preparatory school aims to establish a love of learning in each student by creating a positive and stimulating environment. Teachers strive to provide a holistic, balanced and varied curriculum so each pupil can reach their full academic potential. The values they promote are: mutual respect, independent thinking, positive attitudes and participation. 

Knightsbridge School concentrates on classical education, with an emphasis on literacy and reasoning, as well as encouraging children to take part in extra-curricular activities. It offers an extensive programme, from judo and fencing to ballet and cookery. A modern language, either Italian, Spanish, Mandarin or Greek, must also be taken alongside French lessons.
