Millfield Prep is looking for a part-time Lead Counsellor.

As the Lead Counsellor at Millfield Prep School, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the counselling provision, as well as line managing an existing part-time Counsellor. Please see our attached brochure for further details on the role and Millfield Prep.

You must have accreditation with BACP or equivalent.

To be successful, you will be confident working with young people within a multi-cultural environment. An ability to work in a team and be flexible in approach is essential. Experience of working in a boarding context would be an advantage.

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week. Hours and days to be discussed at interview.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary in the region of £28 per hour, access to the school facilities, freshly prepared lunches for only £10 per month, and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school’s Employee Assistance Programme.
