We are looking for a Lead for Alternative Provision who will:

• work with other senior staff on issues of behaviour, developing and implementing policies and procedures to overcome obstacles to learning and improve participation in learning and school life 

• take a leading role in our internal alternative provision for students requiring medical, behaviour or emotional support with curriculum access

• manage a team, with appropriate deployment of staff, to ensure students have the opportunity to maximise their potential through accessing an appropriate curriculum

• bring knowledge and experience to work with the Assistant Headteacher to produce schemes of learning and assess students’ progress towards targets in individual action plans

• demonstrate a passion and commitment to raise standards and achievement through implementing appropriate interventions for children unable to access mainstream lessons

• model commitment, resilience, patience, hard work and a good sense of humour
