To provide 1st & 2nd line hardware, software & peripheral support to all Academy staff, students, Governors and third party visitors

To complete helpdesk incident and problem requests inline with internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with these at all times

To take proactive and reactive support of all user operated IT & AV equipment, ensuring that downtime through consumable life expectancy is kept to a minimum

To act as the technical escalation point for User Support Officer escalated support at their site(s)

To work collaboratively across both schools, to share information within the IT department (through the production & use of knowledge Base Articles and User Guides)

To understand the essential requirements of complex networking systems

To provide Operating  System level support in Windows 10 and current versions of Microsoft office & other applications used across both Schools

To ensure audit information is accurate, up to date and that all staff have signed relevant documentation relating to Acceptable Use of IT and hardware asset deployment

Take a lead, working to the Network manager, in the design and development of ICT based systems, interactive and graphical resources, video, on-line communication tools etc. which enhance the curriculum and promote eLearning within and outside both schools, according to agreed policy and specification

Support the Network Manager and ICT Technicians in the management of the network

Lead on website maintenance and the transfer of materials onto the website**

Manage and update the websites and web content, digital screens, social media and tools that provide electronic home/school multi-media communication

Create digital materials for events (banners, flyers, video content, photography, etc.)

With the ICT Technicians at both schools, support staff in classrooms with multi-media content and applications

Provide support to key subjects within the classroom and curriculum that makes extensive use of multi-media content (such as Drama, Music, Media Studies, Photography, Computing, etc.)

Assist with preparing equipment for presentations, assemblies, meetings and events (including in the evening), as required

Undertake any such other duties that reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and its level of responsibility
