Sir Robert Pattinson Academy is an 11 – 18 comprehensive school recently judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted as a result of the education and opportunities provided to pupils, enabling them to flourish within a calm and caring environment. What we need

We are seeking to recruit a Lead Practitioner with a proven track record of securing high standards of achievement for students, and the highest standards of teaching from staff, to join our English team. The successful candidate will be an experienced Teacher of English with experience of teaching English across KS3-5, as well as leading and developing the quality of teaching and learning within a successful English department, and improving general standards of literacy. The role will be focused on raising and maintaining standards of teaching and learning within English and improving student attainment.  

You will need to be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile teacher with a passion for your subject and the desire to contribute to the development of the English department and the Academy as a whole.
