The Governors of Blessed Trinity are seeking to appoint an ambitious and outstanding Lead Practitioner of Mathematics

This is an exceptional opportunity to provide leadership in this popular and oversubscribed school. It is an exciting new post and, as the successful candidate, you should be aspirational, innovative and have a genuine engaging enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of Mathematics. 

You will be a key member of our Mathematics team and will add to the Faculty’s success by delivering Mathematics in innovative and creative ways that maximise student outcomes and pique their curiosity and love of learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. In addition, you will possess the coaching skills to inspire and strengthen the pedagogy across the Mathematics team and to lead departmental CPD sessions on learning and teaching.

We welcome applications from experienced Mathematics teachers, with a proven track record of success, who are ambitious and looking to take the first steps into leadership.

Blessed Trinity RC College is a mixed, non-selective Roman Catholic secondary school, situated in Burnley, Lancashire. There are approximately 1,250 students at the college aged between 11-16.

Pupils are able to explore their Christian faith with optional Chapel drop ins during lunch.
