The Gateway Academy is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. We are looking for an outstanding Lead Practitioner in English to guide and advise on best practice within the Academy. This role is critical to the Academy's continuing progress; it is integral to how we will achieve the highest standard of learning and teaching in every classroom.
Ideal candidates will:
have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
have experience of providing professional development to teachers, including coaching, mentoring and training
have proven experience of positively impacting on student progress and raising attainment and developing excellence
have outstanding subject knowledge
have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
