LEAD PRACTITIONER IN MATHS
Permanent, Full Time MPR / UPR & TLR2B

University Church of England Academy is seeking to appoint a Lead Practitioner in Maths who will work closely with the Head of Maths and Senior Leadership, as well as other colleagues throughout the department, to drive continuing improvement in students’ progress as well as the quality of Teaching and Learning within maths.
Your role as a Lead Practitioner will involve developing best practice in Teaching and Learning within maths. You should be innovative and willing to lead on a number of initiatives whilst working as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who can demonstrate experience of raising attainment in maths across all Key Stages. You will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and demonstrate high aspirations for the future.
You will be a dedicated, talented and enthusiastic individual who is looking for the next step in your career. You will be passionate about Teaching and Learning and developing pedagogical approaches that inspire learners. The ability to be a highly successful team player in a very busy and fast-paced environment is essential. You will have the capacity and energy to drive improvement, to lead by example and to develop collaboration within the department.
