We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, outstanding and innovative professional to join our already successful and dynamic Mathematics Facutly. 

The successful applicant will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner; committed to achieving and sustaining high standards of Learning and Teaching
  • Have a rigorous and inventive approach to the delivery of Maths across both KS3 and KS4 and be enthusiastic the subject with the ability to inspire our students
  • Have outstanding classroom management skills, high expectations and a commitment to the best possible outcomes for all students
  • Engage with the current national agenda on Maths teaching and the curriculum and enable the Academy to continue to meet this challenge
  • Demonstrate the ability and previous experience in driving initiatives with quantifiable, positive impact on the outcomes for pupils
  • Be highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to work with other, high achieving professionals
  • Promote collaborative working and demonstrate the ability to ead learning in the classroom effectively

Emerson Park is a successful and oversubscribed 11-16 Specialist Sports College in the London Borough of Havering. Emerson Park Academy is a mixed comprehensive school for pupils aged 11-16 years. 

Since September 1999, 192 pupils have been admitted annually, in response to parental demand.  The Academy can trace its roots back to 1943 when it began life as the only Grammar School in the country to be establised during World War Two.  It move to its present site in 1954 and became a comprehensive school in 1973. 

Emerson Park Academy has a full complement of committed and highly qualified specialist teaching and support staff.  The Academy is most fortunate to benefit from such a talented, hard-working workforce.  The Academy is set in spacious and attractive groundsd overlooking the Ingrebourne Valley.
