We are seeking to appoint a Lead Practitioner – Teaching & Learning Mathematics who has vision and energy.
As the Lead Practitioner for Mathematics you will work across the Faculty leading the development of quality practice in the subject area. As part of a wider group of Lead Practitioners across the school you will work in developing excellence in pedagogy which leads to enhanced pupil outcomes.
We are not hiding the fact that we have faced a number of educational challenges, but we are making significant progress as evidenced by our recent Ofsted Monitoring visit, in November, 2019. Please take a look at the report on our web site:
However, we are not just about academic success; we work hard to ensure that we role model the right behaviours and provide opportunities for our pupils to develop the skills and understanding required to both be personally successful in the future workplace but also have a positive impact on the world.
We have the support of United Learning and its cluster of schools in the North West working alongside us and have access to excellent CPD for staff, joint-working across schools and a series of initiatives and opportunities that no standalone school could ever provide on its own.
So, if you are driven, ambitious and aspire to build on our success, please get in touch.
Please see the generic Job Descriptions and Person Specifications which are available on the school web site and TES.
So, if you are ambitious for the children you teach and want to work in a school where what you think and do is welcomed and appreciated, please get in touch.
Please apply by completing the downloadable application form from the School’s web-site http://www.harropfold.com/information/employment-opportunities and return by e-mail with your supporting statement, which should be on A4, no longer than 2 sides, (in 11 font) to: firstname.lastname@example.org
