Fearless Futures (FF) serves daring organisations - across sectors - ready to actively challenge inequities by addressing their roots, intersections, and lived realities. We do this as an ambitious group of multi-disciplinary specialists by facilitating transformative, experiential equity and inclusion education and partnering with our clients through consultancy to re-design their policies and processes to operationalise equitable ecosystems for their people and products.

The role

Location:

  • Remote, with access to co-working spaces. We are an entirely ‘remote’ organisation.
  • We invite applicants located in the UK and East Coast of the US (due to team timezone needs), who have the right to work in either of these locations as unfortunately we are not sponsoring work visas at this time.

Role Type: Full Time, permanent.

Salary: Senior Manager pay band*.

  • £45,000-£55,000 per annum, if UK-based.
  • $65,000-$79,650 per annum, if US based.

*Precise salary will be decided within the band on the basis of experience and skillset.

What will the role involve?

  • Using deep, nuanced anti-oppression knowledge to design, customize and iterate on Fearless Futures’ transformational learning design content.
  • Admin and ownership: creating the necessary documents, slide decks and resources and following our learning processes to ensure internal and external needs are met.
  • Exceptional facilitation of Fearless Futures programmes.
  • Collaboration with the wider learning team.

The role will report into our Director of Learning, Sam (he/him), based in London, UK.

Role requirements

  • At least 5 years work experience.
  • Extremely deep, nuanced and up-to-date anti-oppression knowledge across nine systems of oppression: colonialism, racism, islamophobia, anti semitism, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism, disablism and classism.
  • Strong experience in delivering dynamic educational journeys (this could be with young people or workplace training).
  • Strong experience in designing effective educational journeys and resources.
  • Familiarity with “diversity and inclusion” trends and themes in the workplace.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication.
  • Creative and adaptable when unexpected challenges occur.
  • High standards, tenacity and perseverance.

Interview process

  1. Round 1: this will be scheduled on a rolling basis. This will involve a live assessment of your facilitation skills and your learning design capabilities and a short interview. All assessment activities will be live so you will not be required to prepare anything outside of the hours of the interview. Duration: 3 hours.
  2. Round 2: this will be scheduled on a rolling basis. This will involve another live assessment of your learning design skills and an interview. All assessment activities will be live so you will not be required to prepare anything outside of the hours of the interview. Duration: 2 hours.
