We are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor to work under supervision and guidance of the Senior Learning Mentor and Assistant Principal (Inclusion and Most Vulnerable) and senior leaders to provide a complementary service to teachers and pastoral staff in addressing the needs of students who require support in overcoming barriers to learning, both inside and outside the Academy.The successful candidate will be a dedicated, talented and energetic individual with the ability to support the learning of students within the fields of literacy and numeracy. Building excellent relationships with students, parents and teachers forms an essential part of this role.
The successful candidate will support students across the school and will play a pivotal role in developing new approaches to supporting young people both within and outside the classroom.Training will be provided and opportunities for further professional development will be made available.
