Job overview

William Morris Sixth Form, situated in Hammersmith, was established as the country’s first 16-19 comprehensive school. We offer 850 students from West London and beyond an exciting range of academic and vocational courses from foundation learning through to advanced level. WMSF is an over-subscribed, vibrant, inner-city learning community which has the individual student at the heart of everything it does.

We are looking for a highly organised and approachable person to join our friendly team in delivering exceptional information services to a vibrant community of students and staff.

You will need a real enthusiasm for helping young people and staff use the Learning Resource Centre, whether by circulating resources, helping with ICT facilities or assisting with general enquiries. You will have considerable daily interaction with our students and staff and will therefore require excellent communication skills, together with a confident and patient manner. You will also have strong administrative skills and confidence in using a range of administrative and library management software (training will be provided).

This is a busy role and you will need to have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work. You will also have the desire to work in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment where ‘inclusive excellence’ and young people are at the centre of our work.

To apply, please visit www.wmsf.ac.uk/staff-vacancies/92.html

Closing date: 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday 16th October 2018

Interviews will be held on Friday 19th October 2018

We actively promote the safeguarding and welfare of all our students. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
