ABC Teachers are urgently recruiting for an outstanding, dedicated Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistant with recent classroom experience. The position is for a varied 3-5 days per week within an Ofsted 'outstanding' Leicester SEN School.

The school are looking for someone who can work flexible days when required; providing SEN support across their Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils. To be considered for this role you must have previous SEN experience in either a school or care work capacity, having prior experience within a challenging environment and Severe Learning Difficulties. The school aims to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential, whilst maintaining a happy and safe environment at all times.

We are seeking applicants who are experienced and holds the knowledge and skills in order that they can provide flexible and effective support within a SEN Teaching Assistant role. Relevant qualifications are encouraged but not required to be considered.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Recent SEN experience working with young people that can be referenced

• Good communication skills; throughout pupils, parents, and staff

• A sense of humour and positive presence

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Excellent attendance and punctuality
