Vision for Education are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants, experience with children with complex needs is essential for a residential school with complex needs in Bury. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate characteristics of high quality support and implement strategies for improving and sustaining high standards of teaching and learning.  It is essential that you have experience providing assistance to students with complex needs. You will be required to work with pupils to build positive relationships and help children overcome barriers to learning. Experience supporting the teaching of core subjects such as English, Maths, Science and Functional skills is desirable along with experience facilitating 1:1 or small nurture group interventions. 

The residential school in Bury currently has a small cohort of children across Primary, Secondary and FE but are looking to expand in the new academic year. The pupils within the school have an array of complex needs including ASC, sensory impairments, learning difficulties and social and emotional difficulties.  

Whilst working with Vision for Education our staff have full accessibility to our CPD courses:

  • Team teach, 
  • Mental Health awareness, 
  • Child protection and Safeguarding, 
  • Autism awareness,
