The Governors of this over-subscribed Roman Catholic Girls’ School wish to appoint a graduate who will work in the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team to support pupils in the classroom alongside subject teachers, and elsewhere to ensure that pupils with SEND gain full access to the curriculum and make excellent progress. 

The postholder will have opportunity to create resources and will be key worker to specific students. The LSA will undertake break/lunch-time supervision as required. 

This post will especially suit candidates who wish to consider a teaching career.

Previous experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

La Sainte Union is an oversubscribed and successful voluntary aided Catholic girls’ school (mixed 6th form) that enjoys the benefit of splendid grounds and is situated in a pleasant residential area overlooking Parliament Hill Fields. It is easily accessible by public transport.

Informal visits are welcomed by prior appointment with the Headteacher.
