Job overview
We are looking for an exceptional support assistants to join our team. You will be expected to work upto 18 hours a week, term time only. You should be enthusiastic, self-motivated, demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and have the ability to work as part of a team and make use of your own initiative when appropriate.
- To work in partnership with the class teacher, concerning the educational, emotional, social and physical needs/wellbeing of a named children.
- To work with the children in a planned way individually, in a small group, or as part of the larger class.
- To help with setting up and maintaining activities which the named children are involved in.
- To maintain notes and observations/other records, as directed, concerning the named children.
- To play a part in the creation and maintenance of a happy, caring, and stimulating environment throughout the school by treating all children, parents and fellow professionals with kindness, openness and respect.
