Learning Support Assistant

We require enthusiastic members of staff to work as Learning Support Assistants at Spelthorne Primary School. You will support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum.

 · To work under the direction of class teachers, SLCN or Inclusion leader to provide a range of support to pupils with barriers to their learning including one to one, small group interventions and in class support

· To promote the inclusive ethos of the school

· To work with teachers to ensure that through specific support and interventions pupils, with barriers to their learning, make accelerated progress in line with pupils without barriers to learning

· To be flexible in supporting vulnerable pupils (including in unstructured times)

· To share in the responsibility of all adults in the school to promote good discipline and a safe environment that promotes learning

2 part time positions are available:

Hours:

Monday to Friday  

8:30-1:30 (AM)

Or 

11:45 - 3:30 (PM)
