Learning Support Teacher

Hill House is a thriving co-ed independent preparatory school, which offers great opportunities for its pupils. The school is forward-thinking yet traditional with a strong family ethos and an excellent reputation. 

It was founded in Switzerland in 1949 and opened in London in 1951. Hill House became the first school to teach in two different countries at the same time with the same children. The school still has an annex in Switzerland which hosts specialist courses throughout the year.

We are seeking to appoint a full time Learning Support teacher who is enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative and who will be willing to make a wide contribution to the life of this busy and exciting school. The successful candidate should be well-qualified and have proven experience of working with children with additional learning needs. They will also have a commitment to the development of each individual child. There will be an expectation to work in close partnership with other teachers and pupils’ parents to ensure that pupils who have a learning difficulty are supported appropriately. The type of support offered to a pupil may include in-class support as well as individual and group sessions focusing on, among other areas, literacy, maths, study and organisational skills.
