Hours 24 hours per week 8.30-16.30 term time only
We are looking to employ a proactive and enthusiastic individual to work as part of our learner support team.
The main duties of this role will include working 1:1 with learners in a college environment and also to work on independence and employability skills. This role requires a certain degree of flexibility which is essential as working hours are based around the learner’s timetable and learners will be in different colleges.
Applicants must have achieved, or are prepared to work towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care/children and young persons and have experience of working within the educational/care environment.
It would be preferable if applicants had previous experience of working with students with special educational needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions. A knowledge of welsh language is also desirable but not essential. Staff may be required to work outside term time if training is required.
Priory College North Wales is a specialist further education college for learners aged 16-25 with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Asperger Syndrome and associated conditions. Priory Coleg North Wales works in partnership with Coleg Cambria to deliver mainstream education with tailored support in education, independence and communication skills.
