Job overview

We are looking for a Learning Technologist to join our Development and Innovation Unit on a fixed term basis. Your primary responsibility will be to support the vision for delivering effective and successful Technology Enhanced Learning through a range of teaching and learning focused digital projects. The post reports to the Group eLearning Manager and will work closely with other eLearning professionals, the wider curriculum and support departments.

You will have experience of managing and administering a Moodle site, operating a helpdesk, supporting successful online courses and be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will have excellent ICT skills, including creative and eLearning authoring skills, coupled with an understanding of teaching, learning and assessment. You will also possess the ability to manage time effectively, work as part of a team and be able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
