The Role
We are recruiting for an Accounting Lecturer to deliver our qualifications across a range of levels. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding quality teaching, learning and assessment. You will contribute to all areas of teaching, including lesson planning, assessment, tutorial support and internal verification.

The successful applicant will be inspirational who promotes the highest aspirations for all learners and can contribute effectively to moving the department towards outstanding. You will need to be positive and dynamic with the ability to bring the subject matter to life while engaging with a wide variety of learners. You will need to have experience of teaching ACCA at levels 2 and 3 along with a recognised teaching qualification.

Rotherham College is a part of the RNN Group, a group of education and training organisations which also includes North Notts College and Dearne Valley College.
At Rotherham College we provide courses for school leavers and adults including Higher Education and skills. We specialise in a technical and career focused training and education. The Wharncliffe RestaurantOur industry standard training restaurant at town centre campus offers a mouth-watering, seasonal menu at tempting prices. So why not treat yourself to a sumptuous meal, pop in for lunch or stop by for a coffee with friends.
Inspire Hair and Beauty SalonsTreat yourself to a beauty treatment or new hairstyle at our Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy Salons and Nail Bar based at town centre campus.
The salons offer a whole range of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy treatments at fabulous prices using both professional products and equipment.
Food and DrinkFresh food and drink is available at each campus daily from our on-site refectories, with a wide selection of choices available. They are open daily, from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm.
If you’re an early riser, you can also take advantage of our free toast for breakfast scheme before 9.00 am.
For those times when our refectories are closed, a variety of snacks and hot and cold drinks are available in each building from our vending machines.
The Wentworth ShopLocated at the town centre campus, our shop offers a wide selection of useful bits and pieces including stationary supplies and a limited supply of text books. Alternately, if you don’t have time for a visit to the refectory, you can buy freshly made sandwiches and other snacks. The shop has its own seating area for breaks between classes and is open daily from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.
WiFiWe have a free wireless network available for students to use while on campus on mobile devices and laptops. To access the service you will need to enter your college user-name and password. If you have any problems using the service please speak to a member of the Library.
Print DepartmentThe Print Department is based at town centre campus on the lower floor of the Wentworth Building. The services available to students include printing of digital files, binding of course work, photo enlargement.
