This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and friendly ‘NEET programmes’ team within the Faculty of Foundation Learning and Support. Successful applicants are likely to have had experience of working with a range of students with varied educational backgrounds and behavioural issues, and must be committed to outstanding teaching and learning.
We are seeking a forward-thinking and highly motivated Lecturer to teach a bespoke NEET students course. You will be expected to undertake teaching and mentor a group, assist with curriculum development, market and promote courses. You will be able to demonstrate recent experience of teaching in FE, hold a relevant degree and have a working knowledge of the current NEET field in teaching. A teaching qualification is essential or the willingness to work towards one.
A flexible approach and excellent organisational/ interpersonal skills are required. A sound communicator, your administrative skills will be strong along with good problem solving skills. You will be an effective team player able to develop and disseminate best practise within the team and faculty.
