The Job: 

You will deliver outstanding courses using a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies including remote learning across modules on our Level 2 and Level 3 courses and HE if you have the qualifications and experience for this. You will provide learners with an exceptional educational experience enabling them to maximise their potential.  

Working as a Lecturer is a demanding but extremely rewarding role and whilst teaching experience would be an advantage what is more important is your enthusiasm to motivate and inspire our learners, to achieve and fulfil their career aspirations within the IT industry. 

We are looking for experts in Computing with a degree in a relevant subject.  You must have numeracy and literacy skills at level 2 and if you do not already have a teaching qualification, you will be required to achieve a level 5 teaching qualification and be supported in becoming a highly competent Lecturer within 2 years.   

If you are already a computing lecturer with a teaching qualification at level 5, you will be proficient in delivering programming and computer networking units at level 3.  An ability to deliver at levels 4-6 would be an advantage.   

You will work primarily at our Stockport Campus where we are making a multi-million pound investment in new buildings, better facilities and resources. You may be required to teach at our Stretford campus.
