Job overview

The Faculty of IT are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic lecturer, with a real passion for Teaching and Learning, to become a part of our team. We would welcome applicants with industry or teaching experience in any of the following areas: Digital, Programming or Data. In return we offer you the opportunity to join a dynamic vocational faculty which is currently developing and delivering a brand new and exciting curriculum offer including BTECs, T levels, Apprenticeships and a new HNC esports from September 2023. In addition to teaching, you will also offer pastoral support as a tutor. Due to the breadth of our curriculum, we can be flexible with specific teaching specialisms.

Our IT faculty is based in the heart of the city centre, just a few minutes’ walk from Exeter Central Station. We have classrooms and specialist facilities in the recently opened Digital and Data Centre, our brand-new building offering high-quality, cutting-edge provision to support our students. This building boasts a fully equipped IT lab and a sector leading esports venue, used by our competition winning students. In addition, it contains specialist Apple teaching facilities and high end HE delivery spaces including a 140+ seat lecture theatre. See more information about the faculty hereon Issuu.
