Gloucestershire College GC is recruiting a Lecturer in Graphic Design to join the Arts and Media team. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and technical skills.

The purpose of this role is to motivate and inspire our students to want to achieve their individual learning aims and BTEC level 3, 4 and 5 qualifications.

As a Lecturer in Graphic Design, you will:

• Provide learning and assessment activities which meet curriculum requirements and the aims and needs of all the learners 

• Develop, establish and promote peer and self-assessment as a tool for learning and progression 

• Encourage learners to recognise and reflect on ways in which learning can empower them as individuals and make a difference in their communities 

• Refer learners to information on potential current and future learning and career opportunities and appropriate specialist support services


Skills and Experience:

• Experience of teaching Graphic Design 

• Experience of working with young people within Further Education

• Minimum level 5 in Graphic Design or Art related subject

• PGCE, DTTLS or Certificate in Education (or willingness to complete)
