Salary: £28,374 to £35,960 per annum dependant on experience

New City College, Redbridge Campus, located in East London, is one of the top performing General Further Education Colleges in London and was graded as "good" with OFSTED at the last inspection in December 2015.

We are looking for two experienced and innovative Lecturer in Mathematics who are committed to delivering the highest standard of teaching. You will have experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills. 

Your enthusiasm will encourage students to achieve their maximum potential, and promote in students recognition of the significant of mathematics. You will have a positive attitude to working in this sector as you will have experience working with an establish, committed team which is determined to raise standards. 

Good communication skills, and a commitment to equal opportunities is essential for this post.

It is essential that all applicants have a minimum Level 5 Teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards this. Applicants will have a degree in mathematics or related degree.

New City College was created by the merger of Tower Hamlets College and Hackney Community College in August 2016. Redbridge College merged into the group in April 2017. The group merged in August 2018 with Epping Forest College, based in Loughton, Essex. We are London’s second largest college with 20,000 students and campuses sited in three east London boroughs and in Essex.
