As a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering (Hydraulics and Pneumatics), you will benefit from the superbly-equipped workshops and specialist rooms available at our purpose-built Castleford Campus. The Engineering team also have strong links with industry on a regional and international level.
You will teach on one or more of the range of Mechanical Engineering courses and assist in the development, organisation and delivery of the Engineering curriculum area.
You should currently hold:
- A Mechanical Engineering Vocational Qualification / NVQ3 or equivalent
- GCSE A* - C in Maths and English qualifications (Grades 9-4) or equivalent
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working within an Engineering industry
- Experience of Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems
- Experience of Teaching /Training, up to level 3, ideally in the Further Education sector
*Salary £24,271 - £30,715. Up to £33,554 + Market forces payment options could be accessible for a fully qualified, suitably experienced/exceptional candidates. This can be discussed at interview.
