GBMet College is offering opportunities to deliver a high quality teaching experience for students aged 16 and over in the Brighton and Worthing areas.

We are looking for Lecturers with passion, enthusiasm and flair to join our forward thinking and dynamic team.

For many learners, the opportunity to secure their grade through Further Education presents a valuable second chance and therefore we are looking for Lecturers with the ability to motivate learners with a grade 3/D to achieve their goals.

Smaller class sizes and access to the latest technologies will allow you to offer a greater degree of personalised learning to your students and you will also have the opportunity to contextualise learning to make it vocationally relevant.

Investment in staff is key to our success and GBMet offers a wide range of internal and external training opportunities to help you develop your skills within an FE setting.

You will require an academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, or professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one).  You also require experience of teaching Maths GCSE and Functional Skills and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students within a possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.

Interviews will be held on 8 February 2019
