Tees Valley Education are seeking to recruit two suitably qualified and experienced administrators to work in two of their academies. One of these is a new specialist provision, named Discovery Special Academy, which will open in September 2018 for children with severe learning and associated complex needs. The other is Brambles Primary Academy which is a mainstream primary academy serving children in an area of high deprivation. Tees Valley Education is extremely proud of the high quality provision it offers all pupils in its care and this is an exciting opportunity, designed to support a growing Trust as well as adding capacity to the academies within it.

The successful candidates will promote and support the vision and direction of either Discovery Special Academy or Brambles Primary Academy by providing day-to-day support for all users. First impressions count; our office staff set the tone for how our academies are perceived and as the first point of contact, you will need to have an outgoing, friendly approach. You will be able to undertake difficult conversations with people in a calm and assertive manner. The academy offices are extremely busy places and children, parents and staff will often require your help and support at short notice, so we expect you to be able to prioritise and organise your time effectively, with a smile!

A Level 4 Administrator, working with a Level 3 who is due to leave in the summer, currently lead the office at Brambles Primary Academy. The Academy Business Manager also works closely with the administration team to provide support on a day to day basis, as well as across the Trust.

Whilst the appointment is based at Brambles Primary Academy, as part of Tees Valley Education Trust we see ourselves very much as a team, serving three different communities.
