Job overview

The Governors wish to appoint a conscientious and friendly person to join our highly successful English Department at the earliest opportunity.  The suitable candidate will oversee and maintain the library and the services it offers. This will include managing, developing and promoting our library running the Accelerated Reading Programme and providing reprographic services for the school.  

The post is both rewarding and challenging requiring flexibility and commitment to raising standards of literacy across the curriculum. The ideal candidate must be proactive in organising and running breakfast, lunch time and after school clubs. In addition, they will be responsible for deploying the resources provided and meeting the library and information needs of pupils and staff. 

Applicants must be dedicated and inspiring individuals who will make a real difference to our pupils. Helping them achieve their potential targets and becoming the ‘best that they can be’.
